"Rolling Stone" is placing albums by Kanye West, Drake and Danny Brown among this year's hottest records.
On the magazine's list of the "50 Best Albums of 2013," Kanye's Yeezus landed in the number two spot after Vampire Weekend's Modern Vampires of the City.
"Rolling Stone" calls Yeezus an "electro masterpiece" and Kanye's "most extreme album ever."
Drake's third album, Nothing Was the Same, barely missed the list's top ten and was named the 14th best album of 2013, while Danny Brown's Old took the number 17 spot.
Among the other hip-hop artists on the list are Pusha T, Eminem, J. Cole, Earl Sweatshirt and Chance The Rapper.
